My first book, Man of War, chronicles the year I spent reenacting my way through 2,000 years of Western civilization. You can buy the paperback version here, here and/or here. The hardcover, in which I look like some sort of bloated, stressed-out Revolutionary War dweeb, is currently on sale at the following places: BOOKSTORES, Amazon and Indiebound.

Why stop at one copy when you can buy ten? Seriously, it’s just that good. At least that’s what my mom told me.
A story I once wrote about people who fish golf course water hazards was selected by Michael Lewis for inclusion in the Best American Sports Writing, 2006. No, that’s not me posing as the Heisman Trophy.

Charlie,
I can’t wait until the book comes out! We will definitely get a copy. Nick and I enjoyed meeting you when you reenacted with us in Hendricks Company.
Best of luck!

Thanks, Chuck! I had a great time with both of you.
Charlie, It was an honor and a privilege to have you as a ‘visiting’ winged hussar/guest of honor. We sincerely thank you and extend our gratitude and appreciation in including our historical representation and portrayal among the many others you chose to cover. Thru works such as yours, you are helping to spread the word about an often-overlooked, yet equally important era of European History that is, for unknown reasons, often either discredited or dismissed altogether.
As such, you have greatly assisted America’s first documented representation of the winged hussars in the United States; Suligowski’s Regiment of Sobieski’s winged hussars in our ongoing mission of raising Polish Historic awareness and culture.
That said, we are eternally in your debt. History marches on!
Sincerely,
Rik Sulima-Suligowski Fox / Founder, Suligowski’s Regiment
