I’ve appeared in numerous plays with the highly respected New York theater companies Elevator Repair Service, The Civilians, Rattlestick and The Ridiculous Theatrical Company. When I lived in Hong Kong I appeared in some of their TVCs. Here’s one for Darlie, formerly “Darkie” toothpaste. The Chinese name remains 黑人 “Black Person Toothpaste.”
And Daikin air conditioners, which if the temperature of Hong Kong’s interiors is any indication, really, really work.
Not to mention Sealy mattresses. I slept for an hour the night before. Can you tell?
